Tjurni Miminis- Antenatal
Thursday each week, 11am to 2pm

For all pregnant Aboriginal women living in Whyalla. The program is run by Aboriginal Maternal Infant Care (AMIC) workers and midwives and offers culturally appropriate obstetric support for women of all ages in a culturally appropriate environment. Participants have the opportunity to meet with other women in different stages of their pregnancy, participate in craft activities, listen to specialist service providers on subjects such as breastfeeding, development, parenting and regular check-ups prior and post birth.

Immunisation Clinic
The recommended immunisation schedule for children 0-4 (birth, 2 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 4 years) are all covered in the clinic. Advice and education is also available.

Well Women's Clinics
Run by a local Registered Nurse, services provided include pap smears, breast and STI checks, education and information about hormone replacement and general education.

Transport
A transport services is available for all Aboriginal people in the community to attend medical appointments.

Men's Health
A men's health worker is available and men's group established.

Flu Vaccination
Influenza and Pneumonia vaccinations.

Podiatry - Monthly
Includes general foot assessment along with a foot and nail care service.

Diabetes Clinic - Monthly

HbA1c, screening, management, support and education.
