Adult Health Checks

Aboriginal Health Workers at Nunyara Wellbeing Centre are keen to help clients detect early changes in their health by providing Adult Health Checks. This is also a good way to help control any existing conditions and get the support you may need. Aboriginal Health Workers are aware of the services provided within our community and are able to refer you to them. Some of these services, like the podiatrist or dietician visit Nunyara Aboriginal Health Service on a regular basis. Please call Nunyara to make your appointment with an Aboriginal Health Worker, or if you are in the area call in and see if one is available – we would love to meet you.

Men's Health

Nunyara Aboriginal Health Service has had a Men's Group running in 2017 under the guidance of Aboriginal Health Worker Jeremy Coaby. The group provides a focus on men's health, with Dr Patrick Sprau regularly visiting the meetings to discuss a topic the group nominates.

Women's Health

Services provided include pap smears, breast and STI checks, education and information about hormone replacement and general education that relate to women’s matters. To access please ring the Clinic Receptionist and make an appointment for a long consultation either with the Nurse or our female doctor – Dr Krista who visits Nunyara Aboriginal Health Service every second Monday. Certain women's health appointments are also available through Pathways to Preschool Clinic with Dr Tracey.
